NCF Hosts Mayoral Environmental Forum

On August 3, the Barn at NCF was host to Newton’s first mayoral forum to focus entirely on environmental issues facing our city.  Organized by Green Newton , and moderated by Nathan Phillips, Professor of Earth and Environment at BU, the forum gave the seven mayoral candidates a chance to answer questions on pressing environmental issues, and convince voters that they are top choice for Newton.  Many thanks to Green Newton, and other sponsoring organizations Mothers Out Front, 350 Mass, and Forward MA, for making this informative, and community-building event happen.  If you missed it, look for the next mayoral forum on environmental issues on September 28, 7pm, at the Newton Free Library.
